I don't know if you have noticed the new 50 naira charge for each POS transaction, is it the federal government or banks milking the citizens?

I can bet it that government may not be aware of this development. Some government agencies will destroy this government if care not taken.

I doubt if the bank will wake up one day and introduce it, without consulting the CBN that will communicate with government. Do you know how many 50 naira they make all over Nigeria a day?

They want cashless society, then you want to charge 50 naira on POS. Are they not forcing people to carry cash to avoid paying that 50 naira?

the real reason govt want cashless society was to milk the citizens of more taxes and have more control of their financial activities. I pity ppl who thinks the govt is innocent.
