Can Absence of Excision Land Tile Possibly Revoke Certificate of Occupancy (CofO)?

1. Excision is not the only route to obtaining CofO. So a piece of land don't need to be excised (excision) as a foundation for CofO.

2. A CofO can be revoked for several reasons. One of them is not the absence of excision.

3. Some reasons a CofO can be revoked are - Land misuse; where the CofO is purposed for Agriculture but misused for non agric purposes. A CofO can also be revoked upon public good but subject to compensation. In this case, although the CofO was issued by the government, the property may be required for public good. The State could seek to revoke the CofO as much as the title holder has the right to contest in a competent court.
