Capital Raise For My Forex Fund Management & Trading Journal by aigjoe(m): 4:27pm On Nov 10, 2019 |
Hi, I’m Aigbedion Joseph and I am known as aigjoe on this forum, I want to show my currency portfolio/fund management and trading journal. I’m a quantitative forex strategy developer and I have been developing and forward testing my algorithms for a while. I want to use this public space to raise capital to start a PAMM (Percentage Allocation Management Module) on FXTM Nigeria. I would like to use this opportunity to showcase my online currency trading skill and performance for prospective investors or employers here on this forum. A Brief of my Trading Strategy so-far 1. Trades are semi-automated. 2. All trades decision were based on quantitative analyses A.I (Augmented intelligence). 3. My trading risk (Maximum/Relative Drawdown) to capital is currently under < 15%. 4. Trades are made at any time of a trading day. 5. I’m looking at an average of +20 to +50% monthly returns to investors after trading fees. My Goal Is to raise capital for my PAMM (Percentage Allocation Management Module) on FXTM Nigeria. My Mission Is to achieve reasonable returns higher than current available options here in Nigeria, within the most possible short time period. My Vision Is to integrate all trading strategy algorithms into a mobile invest application A.I (Artificial intelligence), to help people make better investment decision. Good performance but what happened to your profit factor? And no withdrawals? Investors don't buy into demo results. Your risk management will be a concern to your prospective investors too. To crash and burn is just a few losses away. |

mcqwerty: 1. Good performance but what happened to your profit factor? is only taken if a trading account had a loss trade, so profit factors is calculated by the recovery profit trades to the loss trades. Profit factor (PF) = ( gross profits (gp) / gross losses (gl) ) 2. And no withdrawals? Its a demo account connected to live market price. 3. Investors don't buy into demo results? The smart investor is looking for how well a trading strategy or algorithm can perform, as far as both live or demo accounts are exposed to the live market price ticking of the currency market. Yes i know, mcqwerty. i'm currently test running a likely possible scenario. And see if my algorithm can survive the stress test. Phase 1: Is to loss all my profits and 70% of the trading capital = Done successfully. Phase 2: Is to see if my algorithms can recover the lost funds, and if possible = Work in progress. Phase 3: If recovery is successful. I would like us to observe how it took to break even = Waiting on phase 2 completion. I really appreciate your concerns, mcqwerty. Thank you a million. |
