DRY SEASON FARMING The dry season period usually starts in October/November and ends in March/April in most part of Nigeria, although there has been sharp deviations from this normal recently. At this period, the best planting method is Using DRIP IRRIGATION SYSTEM which supply water directly to the root of the plant. Drip irrigation is one of the most innovative, efficient and reliable forms of irrigation today. It involves the passing of water to the roots of plants through the use of emitters lined in a tube like pipes. It reduces Weed growth. It also reduces labour cost. The presence of moisture and the effect of dew in the evening can be beneficial to the plants until December or even January. This did not take away the need for artificial irrigation (DRIP IRRIGATION) of the plant. Farmers in Nigeria are experiencing better crop yields by using drip tapes and other drip irrigation systems which helps to produce all year round. FOUNTAIN DRIP IRRIGATION deals with Quality materials at cheap Prices. like *Drip tapes* Layflat Mainlines,* *Connectors*, *End-Caps* fertigating tools like *Venturi Injector* and *Filter*. ©️08169276199. |
