Dont mind some.fools. you guys call kanu all manners of bad names, but people like me and well meaning biafran, have all ask associates and friends to give another way in which things can work better in Nigeria. We Biafrans cant continue doing the same thing for 58 years and expect different results. Every part of the world is developing, cant you ask why no power supply, no good road, no good education system, high unemployment rate, insecurity at the highest level, headquarter of poverty in the world, lowest thinking people I have seen on earth..... when you identify ur problem, then u seek solutions. Do you think Nigeria problem is corruption? I say no to that. The foundation of Nigeria is wrong. Wrong foundation breeds corruption. Hence, we seek for Biafra.

Shame on all those supporting this evil administration...

Shame on those who brought this affliction and calamity on the country

Nigeria is now a joke among comity of nations

Does that not include Sowore himself and his fellow pre-2015 activists who told lies and propaganda to destroy Jonathan and PDP in favour of Buhari and APC?

YouthsPC0:

As General Mohammadu Buhari commissions the Abuja - Kaduna high speed rail project it has become imperative set the records straight not just for history and for humanity sake but most importantly to prevent the attempt by drunk and misguided paid lairs to steal from a man with vision and give the stolen property to a clueless man without direction.

Many have claimed that the Abuja -Kaduna high speed was Initially conceived by Obasanjo the claim is false .
The truth is that under Obasanjo, a consortium submitted a for a RAIL (std guage) project which included the Kaduna- Abuja rail line unfortunately despite initial high interest shown by Obasanjo, the Owu chief dumped the project in pursuit of his third term agenda which unfortunately hit the rocks thanks to Atiku ,Ken Nnamani and Ghali Umar Na'Abba.

When the same idea was submitted to Yardua/Jonathan they accepted it, Although Yardua later died Jonathan pursued it with vigor and commenced its construction and pursued it to conclusion.

Simon Kolawole former editor of Thisday and now publisher of Cable expressly confirms the fact that President Jonathan was the initiator of the project.

Source :
https://www.thecable.ng/kpmg-nigerias-high-speed-rail-world-class

Even Buhari state House website still has the records .

http://www.statehouse.gov.ng/index.php/government/78-featured/108-railway

Obasanjo had nothing to do with it!, people confuse the Abuja light rail project(intra city)whose ground breaking was performed by Obasanjo with the Abuja-Kaduna rail project .

It is imperative to note that apart of the grass clearing (tagged official ground breaking in 2007) for the intracity project Obasanjo never did anything to actualise the dream. the intracity project was originally linked to the Abuja's bid to host the Commonwealth Games in 2014 which never happened!

See source

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abuja_Light_Rail

GEJ also ensured that the Abuja-Kaduna high speed rail project did not suffer like most government projects, hence when budget provisions could not meet up with counterpart funding levels SURE-P a creation of Jonathan from subsidy Savings came to the rescue

Tinubus Nation newspaper corroborates this :

http://thenationonlineng.net/sure-p-sure-of-abuja-kaduna-railway-date/

Despites starting the project from scratch ,In just 3 years(2014) Jonathan had achieved 70% completion

http://allafrica.com/stories/201312091891.html

The only project that received more attention under Jonathan apart from the Federal University/ Almajiri school project & Rice Farming was this high speed rail. project.

http://nigeriannewspapers.disnaija.com/sun/fg-commissions-n136-392b-abuja-kaduna-railway/

Unfortunately APC chieftains who are shamelessly taking selfies with the project were the ones who claimed the coaches were locomotives.

1. Amaechi Buharis Campaign Director General and current minister of transport:

Hear Amaechi in His own words:

“In fact, I think we have a problem; most people don’t believe that the railway transport is functioning in Nigeria. I didn’t even know, until I started this tour, I never knew that the railway was functioning, it was even from his (MD’s) speech that I learnt that there are some coaches or services that go to Kano or Port Harcourt or elsewhere.

http://dailypost.ng/2015/12/16/i-never-knew-railway-transport-still-existed-in-nigeria-amaechi/

Tolu Ogunlesi : Buharis aide on new media

Stated that the Abuja - Kaduna rail project did not exist , he even went as far as posting pictures of a open field where he claimed a taxi driver took him to to buttress his lies!
Today the young man is tweeting pictures all over the place showing Buhari commissioning a project he earlier claimed did not exist !

His handle : www.twitter.com/toluogunlesi

APC as a party claimed the transformation of the rail sector only existed in the imagination of the former president today they are taking selfies inside another mans idea

Source:

APC Campaign Faults Jonathan’s Achievement On Railway, Says ‘Transformation’ Claim Fraudulent, Product Of Over-Active Imagination

http://www.informationng.com/2015/02/apc-campaign-faults-jonathans-achievement-on-railway-says-transformation-claim-fraudulent-product-of-over-active-imagination.html

Winners:

1. Nigerians : we now have a world class rail system we can all be proud of

2. Former President Jonathan : his vision of a world class rail transport is gradually being fulfilled, and for finally giving general Buhari one thing to commission in his second year In Office

3. General Buhari : for not allowing the Demon's that made him cancel the Lagos Metro rail project in 1983 prevail this time

They said PDP destroyed Nigeria I agree with them because this rail project is part of the "destruction".

Supervising painting takes effort so if Amaechi decides to take glory for that no problems even the devil can't take that away from the Buhari administration but that was all they did supervised the paintings.
but instead of taking glory for their Sidon watch painting expedition they used the occasion to insult the Man that conceived and built the structure what a world ?

We hope that there will be something done and something to complete when. General Buhari complete his 4 year tenure as President.

May God continue to Bless Nigeria!!!!

Nigeria Halts China Railway Firm In Its Tracks
NOV 4, 2008

China's top railway builder has encountered a glitch in a lucrative project in Nigeria, jeopardizing a large portion of the firm's future profits and prompting analysts to wonder if a closer look at the risks of its aggressive African investment strategy is in order.

The Nigerian government has temporarily suspended China Railway Construction's $8.3 billion rail project linking Nigeria's north and south. The news sent China Railway Construction shares plunging 18.5%, to 7.99 Hong Kong dollars ($1.03), in Hong Kong, the steepest drop since its initial public offering in March.

Nigeria's Transportation Ministry wants to renegotiate contract terms for the rail link, set to span 1,315 kilometers (817.1 miles) between coastal Lagos and the northern city of Kano, China Railway Construction revealed in a statement filed to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange late Monday night. The government's action deals a big blow to the infrastructure firm, as the rail project represents fully 13.9% of the total value of all its contracts as of Sept. 30, according to the statement.

The Nigerian government's motives are likely both political and financial in nature, analysts say. A turnover of leaders has put major foreign contracts in the country under review and in limbo. Meanwhile, the drastic fall in oil prices has squeezed Nigeria's budget, limiting its ability to finance major infrastructure projects. The 17-month-old administration of President Umaru Yar'Adua has expressed skepticism about the terms for infrastructure and oil contracts negotiated by its predecessor and has called the 2006 contract with China Railway Construction "over inflated."

He basically bullied Jonathan with the “Oga at the top” series of animations and never for once got arrested. He supported the candidacy of a tyranny and has gotten his reward. All you supporters will get yours too !!!

They should hold him some more, let the Washington Post come and free him. As Buhari dey give Business to China and Russia, e don dey vex dem well well.

Please let's leave the messenger and stick with the message, you never can tell what tomorrow holds for any of us, we can find ourselves in this kind of situation and if we condone it, it just might boomerang, Sowore might not have realized this fact but we who are free should.

The right thing to do when you are convinced a leader is bad and needs to be removed is to replace him with a better person not someone far worse than the one you complained of! Whenever you see people blame you supporters of Buhari and APC, it is because of continued contrived blindness and refusal to see the truth or be honest! After spinning half truths and propaganda against Jonathan, where are y'all today?

You say protect the only voice called freedom of expression? Looking at Sowore's antecedents, I know Sowore means well. The points he raised for the revolution bears witness to this.

Still he made some great blunders.

1. He should not have rushed the plan of a revolution. The only planned revolution that could have changed things would be not less than a million man strong. Not some few youths easily dispersed by rubber bullets and tear gas.

2. He should not have contested for any political office. He didn't realize that you can't be a politician and also an activist trying to change the political terrain.

3. He should NEVER have met or associated with Nnamdi Kanu, the known fugitive and rabble rouser.
Those were Sowore's blunders. Also, it's difficult to fight for Nigerians. They will insult you and persecute you. They have fallen in love with their tormentors.Just leave them in peace to soak garri with their pains and suffer

It is a shit hole mark my words if things don't work out well and become clear by 2023 a people will commit mass suicide it will be the very first in this country I am dead serious I have seen it

Not sure about the mass suicide thing, but Nigeria is headed for troubled waters. There are dark clouds forming and ominous winds are blowing across the terrain of Nigeria.

If you bring the never ending Boko Haram onslaught

Add it to the growing discontent in the land

Add those to the obvious corruption going on in among the political class

Then add that to the perceived mistreatment of the VP by some cabals, then consider the recklessness of the security apparatus from SARS to DSS and their obvious disregard for the rule of law and the continued detention of Sowore despite court rulings,

then multiply all those with the incoming law that seeks to hang social media users for perceived wrong doings, there's only one answer you'll get at the end. CHAOS/ ANARCY/ DOOM

Show me which administration since 1999 that Sahara Reporters hasn't attxacked for misrepresenting the people?

I understand that you must put up a straw man so that you can knock it to the ground and claim victory. But Sowore is not your enemy.

The only reason you guys are so pained about the ousting of the Jonathan administration is because you were a huge beneficiary of the loot and re-loot policies of that government coupled with the fact that your people were at the highest echelons of government.

Even the I jaws have washed their hands off Jonathan who couldn't even begin the cleanup of the oil spillage in his region.

But you guys, like the proverbial fly that follows the corpse into the grave want to die there.

Sowore has always published the truth about every successive government since Obasanjo up till present.

Even in incarceration, his media still continues to fight injustice in Nigeria.

For you guys it's an attack against you when we call out corrupt politicians from your region.

You guys should try and grow up if you can. _shit aint about you. Ok? Jonathan isnt Igbo. He is Ijaw. Why do you want to kill yourself for him.

Mention one thing the Goodluck administration did for the east, apart from employing some of your sisters to join in the looting of the national treasury?

Do you think the millions of illiterate northerners who trooped out to vote for Buhari in 2015 read Sahara Reporters blog? Don't be silly my guy. Jonathan failed woefully and a change was badly needed before Jonathan sold the carcass of Nigeria to Cameroon.
