According to Barrister Kelvin,a farmer was beaten and humiliated by soldiers in Rivers State because he petitioned National Assembly after NDPRL Oil planned to forcefully drill a land close to his farm for oil.Below is what he wrote...

'This Is Mr. Imaodi Moro The Manager Of IMAMORO'S Farms Destroyed By NDPRL OIL Spillage In Otari Community Of Abua Odual LGA Been Beaten Up By Army Men Sent By NDPRL In His Farm Which Is Close To The New Rig They Want To Drill By Next Week.

They Asked Him To Swim In The Oil And Chemical Drainage Coming Out Of The NDPRL Years. They Poured The Pot Of Indomie His Wife Was Cooking For Their Children And Asked Them Never To Come Back To That Farm.

They Asked Him What He Was Doing In His Farm And Why Did He Petition Them To The National Assembly And State House Of Assembly.

NOTE:  Up To Date NDPRL Have Refused To Pay The #50 Million Naira Awarded Against Them In Favour Of Mr. Imaodi Moro. Since The 30th Of May, 2019.

They Further Asked Him To Tell Everyone That Cares To Listen Never To Come Close To Any Farmland Close To Their Drilling Area.

Farming Is His Occupation. They Have Destroyed His Farm And Now They Are Beating And Threatening To Kill Everyone Standing On Their Way In Respect Of The Oil Spillage In His Farm.

The Government Of Rivers State Should As A Matter Of Urgency Call NDPRL To Order Before They Kill Us All With Military Men.
