Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun (born 16 July 1990), known professionally as Wizkid or Star Boy (sometimes stylized as Wizkid), is a Nigerian singer and songwriter.

He lived most of his early life in Surulere.

Wizkid‘s family is a mixture of Muslims and Christians. His mother is said to be a Pentecostal Christian while his father is a practicing Islam hence the reason he got the name Ibrahim.
