bolo , it' was pdp that filed a case against Apc deputy for change in name.when the defendant presented affidavits the judge overlook them because he has been paid for a hatchet job to cause confusion.

In kogi a judge ruled that disqualifying a runing mate of a Candidate doesn't affect the candidate.

So much contradictions already.

Arindin, the High court judgement today disqualifying APC from fielding candidate in the coming election was instituted by Heineken Lokpobiri

The Federal High Court, Yenagoa, on Thursday declared that the All Progressives Congress (APC) does not have a governorship candidate in the forthcoming election in Bayelsa State.

This development is coming two days to the election.

The court was presided over by Justice Jane Inyang.

The court declaration, on Thursday, was part of its judgement in a case filed by Heineken Lokpobiri, one of the APC governorship aspirants.

Mr Lokpobiri, a former minister of state for agriculture, had approached the court, asking it to declare him, and not David Lyon, the authentic candidate of the APC

“The court pronounced that the governorship primary conducted by the APC in Bayelsa state was not done in compliance with the guidelines and the constitution of the party, and, therefore, the party has no candidate,” Mr Lokpobiri’s lawyer, Fitzgerald Olorogun, told reporters immediately after the court ruling.

what kind of stupid judgement is this cheesy Heineken prayer was for court to declare him the winner instead the court declared a legal primary that was. Conducted under inec supervision illegal.this judgement will be flung outside the window at appeal court.
Before u mention rivers and zamfara both cases re different.
Zamfara - no primary
Rivers- no congress

That is left for the Appeal court to decide, but as it is, the judgement still stands. APC has no governorship candidate in Bayelsa ...

inec have already distributed the sensitive materials for election in next 48 hours. Should inec start printing another ballot papers that doesn't include Apc and other logistics today it means election would be shifted two weeks before inec can prepare.if not for deliberate wickedness and act of confusion how can a judge can set judgement day 48hours before election.

Pdp too had primary cases in court even before lokpbobiri filed his case. But the judge shifted the date of ruling to after election isn't that better.

Coiurts judgement are not for you to decide to accept or not.If Natasha is not included in the ballot then the election will end up been nullified after a 'winner" must have emerged
Natasha will be included afterwards it came before the printing of ballot papers and before this statement was made.

Breaking News!
A Federal High Court sitting in Yenagoa, has declared invalid the announcement of David Lyon, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate and that of his running mate, Degi Eremienyo, for Saturday’s governorship election in Bayelsa.

Justice Jane Inyang said that the APC breached the rules when another person, other than the statutorily recognised authority, the chairman of the party’s National Electoral Committee, announced the results of the poll.

Senator Heineken Lokpobiri had instituted the case against the APC, it’s standard bearer, Lyon, and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) over the disputed outcome of the September 4 governorship primaries in the State.

However, the judge declined to declare Lokpobiri, a former minister the valid candidate, as requested in his prayers before the court.
A waste
