But they got evidence and did it in a proper way, her actions from the begginging shown she was not interested in any justice but to create embarrassment to the man.

She really does not has any case and the little she might have has been distroyed by her own deed.

There is difference between intimacy and rape, if she had claimed sexual exploitation may be the pastor could have been in trouble because the evidence is everywhere and she might likely see corroborators, but she claimed rape which did not happen, no evidence and her testimony is not consistent enough. Infact her testimony does not look like what u want to use for court purpose, it looks like what u want to use to create scandals. This made it easy for pastor to defeat the case. It was a very easy case to be knocked out.

I believe from her story, she had a crush on him and that led to consensual sex between them multiple times, she even continued to attend his church afterwards
She was probably hoping to be upgraded to main girlfriend one day
Later when she realized that she wasn't special and Fatoyinbo had others, she became bitter and later turned it to rape to gather sympathy and smear the pastor

Let us even assume they had sex, and some wanted to claim statutory rape the normal question will be how old was she at time of encounter and most importantly, what was the age of consent in the place the encounter took place

How can she prove sexual exploitation?

The 1million fine is a slap on the wrist and should have been something like 50M

Any Ilorin based person from 1998 to early 2000s know the pastor and Busola had a fling, if she had came up in that aspect to questions the pastors moral, it would have been understable and we will judge or question the pastor for that. You can't bring in criminality into moral stuff. Court can't condem pastor for having consensual affairs with another women, his congregations are supposed to do that. The pastor was the bubbling guy in Ilorin and every women and teenage girls want to have something with him. Infact till today, girls are always looking for ways to do things with him.
She lost credibility when she changed the story to rape, when their are many people that knows her story. she was just one of those girls who had things with him and only God knows why she chose to bring it up now and in this narrative, many said her husband got to know and she needed a solid story to cover her track just to save her marriage while others said it was a pay back. Which ever way, the truth is in the open, it does not favour either party and both had alot to loose from the truth and non wants people to know the real truth.
