Elections in Nigeria have been characterized by election malpractices, vote rigging, vote buying, massive/multiple thumb printing, under age voting, voter intimidate, thugs, violence, etc. I see electronic voting as the only solution to solve many of these problems. Why do INEC, President Buhari, top political office holders, political analyst and activist fail to advocate for it?

their server wasnt hacked, someone important leak Clinton's email to Russia and sensitive info was release and remember has being working with government for awhile, so it affected in the election

The issue of card reader solved this issue in 2015 ...why are we not improving on that

Accreditation was done till 12 ,voting starts by 12 ,number of voters cant be more than accredited voters ...APC has taken us 15 years back

Using blockchain for elections would be the best approach. Such a system would be decentralised (meaning no need for a central inec server). As a matter of fact we would all be stakeholders in the process. Inec would just be a limited to supervisory role.

A blockchain based election is practically tamper proof. It's like everyone interested can have a copy of all transactions (voting data) in real time. In other words a lot of people (or everyone interested depending on the implementation) would serve as servers simultaneously verifying each other.

This system is what makes bit coins secure. Though still relatively new has been tested in some countries e.g Estonia, some parts of Sierra Leone (for election auditing), a few local elections in the US.

Electronic voting is not feasible. Atiku and PDP will just pay hackers to falsify the results and claim it came from INEC server
