ORDER OF OPERATION
(1) Eliminate parentheses by working from the innermost parentheses to the outermost parentheses using (2)-(4).
(2) Evaluate exponents and roots.
(3) Perform the operations of multiplication and division as they occur from left to right.
(4) Perform the operations of addition and subtraction as they occur as they occur from left to right.
