And all the foolish Buhari could do was to congratulate the rigging irrespective of the bloodshed. This means that the presidency and APC only care about party interest. For God's sake how many times has Buhari gone to Benue,Jos and other states that have been ravaged by herdsmen inside Nigeria that he claims to lead, but he's quick to go to Russia..Saudi and UK within days fo personal trips. But youth sef make una still get sense#nolovelostnolovefound. |

This is simply a case of two groups of thugs coming out with guns to battle during election. One group won, and the other group cries foul. Until things change.. 1 Like |

MAJORBANKZ: His Excellence, Governor Yahaya Bello had no reason to use miscreants for political benefits He is an incumbent Governor from a ruling party at the Federal level PDP was just desperate for power and had to hire thugs disguised as policemen and military to ridicule the election. The art is a well known art and wont cajole anyone to believe His Excellence sponsored violence. Opposition should pick up their pieces and brace up for 2028. Game Over- Psquare |

Nnamebuka: He (Buhari) and his fellow thugs in APC have to use all manner of illegality and underhand tactics to win elections because they know if elections were free and fair that they would loose! You saw this play out in the last gubernatorial elections in Edo, Ekiti, Osun, Lagos, Kano, among many others, as well as the last presidential election earlier this year! Rigging the electoral process doesn’t just occur on Election Day, but months before when the production and collection of PVCs is manipulated to favour Buhari/APC strongholds, and frustrate strongholds of the opposition PDP! Rigging happens in advance of elections by getting rid of the Chief Justice of the federation via unconstitutional means to replace him with a trusted judge from the presidents’ region and religion! Rigging starts in selecting a chairman of INEC from the same region and religion as the president! Rigging on the day of elections is assisted by flooding polling centres and major highways with corrupt and compromised military and police who aid and abet the thugs sent out to dagbaru the process (esp’ in strongholds of the opposition)! And rigging also happens when -even with everywhere flooded with the military and police- you find party agents boldly bribing the electorate and being able to know how each person voted in an election that’s supposed to be secret ballot! This last one never used to happen before and is one of the practices Buhari and his ‘change agents’ have bequeathed the country in their desperation to ‘win’ elections at all costs! Even the most harshest of critics of GEJ and the PDP would grudgingly admit that, even though the electoral process started off in 1999 on a bad footing, that the situation had gradually improved, culminating in the 2015 elections which saw an incumbent ousted from power! I have said it time and again that Nigeria had better kiss goodbye to a progressively improving electoral process which was happening under the GEJ/PDP gov’t! Buhari is no GEJ neither is he a democrat! I can tell you for free that whomsoever he chooses and anoints as his successor come 2023 (if Nigeria survives that long) will be the next person to take over from him, and it’s got fuckall to do with elections and going out to vote! Nigerians are in for it! 4 Likes |

MAJORBANKZ: Thats the problem thats been lingering and PDP supporters hailed Dino and his foolishness with evading law and violating law. Both sides accused each other of arming thugs. This problem could have been prevented much much earlier on but it wasn't. PDP leaders looked on and praised Dino as he repeatedly made fool of himself and local politics. It is always wrong when politics end in deaths and injuries but we should stop getting alarmed because our attitudes and reactions to the warnings is to praise and hail, no one calls for control or hail and praise police for arresting flagrant lawmakers. We need change in attitude to law enforcement so our politics and elections can have some measure of sanity and peace. 1 Like |

Nnamebuka: Jonathan bequeathed Rivers and Ekiti. You want Buhari to deepen that. Is that what you said? You all are reading the outcome in Kogi wrong. Why didnt violence and deaths break out in Bayelsa? You all call yourselves political analysts but too lazy to analyze inputs. Why did one state conduct peaceful election and the other one end in violence and deaths? It is not Buhari....it is local politics. What attributes in that local election cause the violent eruption? This is what you should enquire. |

All those spiting nonsense comments should just re-think, its human life we're talking about here and you're busy defending this lunatic attitude. Is it because you or one of your own wasn't affected or your love for your party, tribe, religion that makes you disregards the truth?. No matter what, lets know that what is Evil is Evil indeed and until we begin to realise this in this country that's when we'll be free until then WE'RE ALL SLAVES even the Bubu himself. #don't quote me plz 3 Likes 1 Share |

MAJORBANKZ: I agree with you somewhat. The issue at hand is violence, electronic voting will not stop that lawlessness. Law enforcement and support to our law enforcers is what will stop it. As far electronic voting is concerned, it is not fool-proof. I can give you two examples right now. 1- I can program a dummy terminal and have it look very authentic and sit it at a polling station. When you cast vote it responds to you interactively and print out a receipt for your ballot. That's all it is programmed to do, it must not transmit that ballot to the server. So all the votes cast at that polling unit is sitting in the terminal. A false number can be substituted in place of the real votes. 2- I can also program a host terminal (not a dummy) that is networked to a database server and so everytime you vote it prints receipt and send the count to the server. I can build filters to manipulate the layer2 packet headers and change the behavior of the media for, say Party Z. I can tell the machine that everytime it reads Z the packet should be transmitted using UDP protocol, not TCP. When TCP packets fail, they will continue to retry until they successfully get to other end. UDP on the other hand does not have error correction, if a packet drops thats it...it is dead, no attempt is made to resend it, and thus the vote for Party Z never counts. So electronic voting is not the almighty they make it sound to be...it has holes that can be exploited for rigging. Secret ballot is best...but we need tight law enforcement. |
