Chief Mike Ozekhome (SAN), human rights lawyer has said the just concluded governorship elections in Kogi and Bayelsa makes him sad and as such will refrain from making comments on it.

Speaking in a chat with Daily Independent, Ozekhome who was referring to the violence that marred the elections said instead of ballot, Nigerians had blood.

"I don’t want to talk about the elections at all. It breaks my heart and makes me sad as a Nigerian that we have murdered democracy. Instead of ballot, we now have blood. Discussing the elections saddens me as a Nigerian” he said.
