Demolishing of illegal structures everywhere, from Abuja to Enugu, Porthacurt, Kaduna, Lagos, etc. but it is the same government that allocated the portions to those individuals and collecting a huge sum of monies from them. is it if they want to create a space for themselves, they will just go a settlement, tag it illegal structure, demolish everything and share it among themselves. let me share what happed in one of the states in Nigeria some years back, there is a village near the capital city of the state, the village has one beautiful land very close to the capital city which they built houses, one day, the governor of the state tag it illegal structure and order for their demolition noting was paid to the villagers. Now, the same place has been map out for estate and a plot there is selling between 25 to 35 million nairas while the poor villagers were languishing in poverty. |

Abuja was lovely in the 90s and under Elrufai, trouble started in 2013 with major influx of people running into to abuja from all over the country. It was never designed to handle large population like Lagos, its not even industrialized. |

Alphafeezay:As long as the government compensate them, there is nothing wrong with moving them. What you guys dont know is that those lands in guzape also belongs to people like me. I have over 4000sq meter land in guzape but i can't build on it because the settlers are still on it. |
