Following the successful seminar on 'Building a Successful Career in HSE' organised by HYBRID Consulting Limited in August 2010 & several subsequent correspondences to enhance effective use of the information received during the seminar and promises made with respect to making all relevant information available to all who are interested in pursuing a career in HSE; we are NOW pleased to inform you all that the arrangements for competence development courses and training to international certifications and qualifications in HSE are now available in Nigeria through our company.

Let me use this opportunity to educate and provide some useful information to all Nigerians on Internationally recognised HSE certifications available for all who are interested in this field of career. There are various international certifications and qualifications available to HSE career today; notable among these are IOSH, NEBOSH, CIEH, BSC (All of these Europe-based especially UK) and BCSP, BCRSP, OSHA (Americas). You may want to check the full meaning of all these bodies out on the web. Certificates and qualifications from all these bodies are acceptable globally, although I must say at this junction that because of our pre-colonial relationship with UK, the most recognised ones in Nigeria are those from the UK; hence the IOSH, NEBOSH, CIEH, BSC, etc

Hybrid Consulting Limited is proud to announce that the company has now been approved by CIEH (Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, UK) to provide Health and Safety (HSE) certifications/qualifications to Nigerians within the competence Levels 2, 3 and 4. For those of us who can remember, that was part of our objectives for organising the seminar and the promise we made during the well attended HSE career empowerment seminar. 

CIEH is a well known body in Europe/UK and the entire globe and has been involved in competence development for HSE professionals for many years. CIEH provides over 50 certification training programs and courses which include food safety, health and safety, environmental awareness and knowledge through a network of over 10,000 registered trainers and 6,000 registered training centres across the UK and recently Nigeria, HYBRID Consulting Limited being one of these registered training centres.

For the last month of our 2010 training calendar, Hybrid Consulting Limited is organising CIEH Level 2 Award in Health & Safety at workplace. Date: December 18th, 2010; 8.00AM – 5.00PM @ 44 Hakeem Balogun Street, Off Lateef Jakande Road, Agidingbi, Central Business District (CBD), Alausa, Ikeja. Lagos State.
