Ize Iyamu is coming into Apc with his popularity backed by federal might. Obaseki can never ever get the APC ticket. They would force him to decamp to PDP which would now make it easy to use federal might to finish him off.

You see all those in Apc supporting Obaseki, it is because Obaseki was the only one there. With other strong candidates in the mix, they would sabotage Obaseki to prove their loyalty to the new guys in Apc.
