Today the hashtag #saynotosocialmediabill is trending on twitter in the US and Nigeria following the announcement of the hate speech bill and of a social media bill that would result in the destruction of freedom of speech in Nigeria

Call your local HOR and Senator from the NASS website to take action against this tragedy-law!

All these lazy youths who were born when morality left many homes in the country just want to trend by force by hiding under canopy of human right and activism to prove right things wrong. Why must you fear if you don't have skeleton in your curboard ? Must people hide under canopy of human-right to violate another persons' right by spoiling their integrity because of free megabyte on their phones ? If you can not give constructive critisism with provable evidences, people should learn to keep guiet. All the unprofessionals and morally-handicapped bloggers and journalists who know nothing about investigative journalism and put their sentiments above professionalism should be warned and better go back to school of morality to take the courses their parents failed to give them while under their parents. #saynotosocialmediabill is just a waste of time, government should go the right direction by signing this into law after passing through necessary readings without minding empty threat
