Whom To Trust? by Nobody: 12:37am On Nov 24, 2019
"As it written, There is none righteous, no, not one: They are all
gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is
none that doeth good, no not one." (Romans 3:10, 12)

The Bible affirms the fact that we are all sinner--sinner that needs
redemption. Blessed be God for the gift of Salvation. It is sad that
the world system can not just satisfy us simply because we are no
longer of the world. Hence, we look forward to meeting our Blessed
Hope--Jesus.

In reality, the world is not a safe place at all for us. People have
strayed from the Word and have come up with their own doctrines,
denominations; unbelievers: their theory. Nevertheless, birth rate is
growing. So, in this evil generation, to whom do we cast our trust?

The answer is pretty obvious but let's view it this way: "In the
beginning was the Word, and the Word as with God, and the Word was
God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by
Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made. In Him was
life; and the life was the light of men." (John 1:1-4)

The verses quoted above said that "the Word was God and was the Light
of men." No doubt that Jesus is the Word and the Word of God we have,
written carefully as the Holy Bible. Hence, we've got the Light right
next to us!
In an evil and perversed generation, we have to put our trust in God
by trusting His Words. Jesus said:

"For I have given unto them the words which thou gravest me; and they
have received them, and have known surely that I came out of thee, and
they believed that thou didst send me.
I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou
hast given me; for they are thine" (John 17:B-9).

It simply means if you're "given" to God's word, you're "given" to
God. Christ prayed for us that received His words--His Father's
word--and not for the world. Now if we don't believe His words, and
trust Him by His words, how would His prayers affect our lives?
For a double-minded person shall receive nothing (see James 1:6-7).
So, whenever this world system doesn't seem to go along with our plans
or faith, let us not trust any person for none is righteous. I am not:
I am only justified by faith by God's saving Grace. The BEST thing to
do is to accustomed ourselves with His words and trust Him only for
our comfort and hope.

If we do not trust Him by His words, how would we believe His promises?
