Not like that at all. After his own 1b his 2 sureties will pay 1b each and the 3m might later be waste because he's likely to go to jail and pay more fine.

But you know the case of Nigeria judiciary, once his bail conditions met, the rest is history. The man himself might go exile.
He can't meet that condition which senator will risk his 1b for him? And another thing is that if he meet the condition the Govt lawyer will use it against him that where did he get 1b from even those senators will be in the watch eye of effc.

The 2 sureties are to pay N1bn each making it a total of N3bn. Not a bad judgement I must say. My greatest concern is where and who will these billions of naira go to. Will it be utilize for the betterment of the average Nigeria man? or it will be a case of transferring our money from one thief to the other?

He was granted bail by a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja.

Asides the N1 billion bail, Maina is to provide two Apostle Joshua Selman sureties in like sum. Both sureties must be serving Nigerian Senators with no criminal cases before the court.

Maina is facing trial on alleged money laundering charge to the tune of over N2 billion preferred against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

He had arrived at the Federal High Court, Abuja, with the aid of a walking stick.
