We’re excited to announce that the Embassy of Ireland in collaboration with Ventures platform has launched AgriLab - an ideation workshop and incubation program targeted at startups within the AgriTech space.

This program is aimed at transforming the ideas of startups into full-fledged business models capable of taking over the market.

Startups stand a chance to receive $2,000 in funding, hands-on mentorship from industry experts, and office spaces. What’s more - the winning team will receive an all-expense-paid trip to Ireland where they’ll meet and network with potential business partners and state agencies.

We expect that by the end of the program, the selected startups would have moved from the point of having just an idea to being able to boast of a growing base of paying customers.

This program sprung from the need to drive the agricultural revolution in Africa given the ever-changing world system where issues of food scarcity and recycling are increasing threats.
