realestniggah: How can FG close borders they don't have control on? Federal Government only close the borders they control, they can't close the North East borders because they can't be there to enforce the law. The Boko Haram terrorists drive their armored cars freely through the Border. Stop deceiving yourself. |

SUFFERInSMILIIN: That is what I'm saying, they r undermining d result of d border closure by still helping dem smuggle goods in. realestniggah:and why cant they adopt same strategy they used for forex when they prohibited 41 items out of all imported items? Why cant they allow Tomatoes, Onions and Vegetables that are produces locally in Niger and Benin republic in while blocking rice, clothes, and other imported goods? Buhari is doing it for his farmer brethren and he wont enforce partial border closure. |

I completely agree with the quoted. Those neighbouring African countries are thieves. Several years ago I imported my personal car that I was using in Europe to Nigeria through Belgium. I personally drove the car to Belgo malienne's office in Belgium and I asked them how safe were my personal effects locked in the car. I will never forget their response. They told me they could only assure that the car would get to Nigeria intact but could not assure that removable parts and items in the book would get home safely. And true to their words, those neighbouring African countries where the ship berthed before getting to Lagos had removed every thing. My clothes, football, football shoes, original DVD, my electric home heater...every damn thing. The only things they did not touch were my books. I had more than 50 books or so; not one of them was missing. Not even one. And that was my main concern actually, so when I confirmed that the books were intact I was relieved. Islie: |

DennisEche: I stand with Buhari, you stand against Buhari, but we both have one mission, that is, better Nigeria. Though we have different believes and opinions on how to achieve our aim. But, we both have the same aim, A BETTER NIGERIA. |

musicwriter: How much rice does Benin republic eat, that would justify the tons of Rice being imported into Benin....if those Rice dont come into Nigeria again some major exporters to Benin wont bother doing business with them again...leaving the stage for the small fries..Then i actually heard from an ewa-agoyin seller who went to the village and said a bag of rice was going for 6k naira because rice is everywhere...so price is dictated by demand and supply, surplus leads to fall in price. What would come in through the 10000 illegal routes in a month is what an open borders will bring in in a day....and mind you those routes have always being in use even when the borders were open.....Why is there scarcity here or why are our neighbors begging if the illegal routes are really effective... |

realestniggah: Boko Haram are in a very bad situation right now. They are either in or out. Can't be both anymore. If they're in, they'll be decimated by Nigerian forces. If they're out, they'll no longer be active in Nigeria. So either way, it's win-win for the country, and for Mr President. 2 Likes |
