How i wish we can sustain this across all state in Nigeria. This is a welcome development. Congratulation to the people of Zamfara state.

It was a criminal law that ex-governors used to fleece their states dry.
Imagine someone like Akpbabio,Fashola or Silva receiving salary as ministers,allowances as ministers,sign contracts as ministers with all the pecks of kickbacks and still receive pension running into millions monthly as ex governors.
Those that are senators too receive such criminal pension.
Much as we like to delude ourselves, Nigeria is too damaged to get better.
There are criminals right from the very top,recircling their criminality down their cycle.

Kaiiii...GOD must surely purnish Nigerian politicians...wicked men...rule for 8years collect N10million pension..while civil servants wey serve for 35years go collect 15,000 naira pension..

Actually, it does means costly.
There is a wide difference in cost between public projects and private ones.
Building a befitting complex would be enough to repair major bad roads or start a new one.
