John 9:1-3, 6-7 (KJV)

6 When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay,
7 And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing.

So the blind man came back seeing after he had washed in the pool of Siloam according to the instruction of Jesus, however one may wonder what the mixture of clay and spittle that Jesus put on the blind man's eyes had to do with him being able to see?

Now this is it:

Genesis 2:7 (KJV)

7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

That was how God formed man's body in the beginning with a mixture of clay and water before He breathed (His Spirit) into man's nostrils for man to became a living soul. So that exactly what Jesus tried to emulate in the instance of the blind man when He made a mixture of clay and spittle (water) and annointed the blind man's eyes.

For man's whole body was actually made of a mixture of clay and water, inclusive of his eyes, and from the description of the man who was said to be blind, it seemed he was either born without eyes, or had eyes that was badly damaged:

John 9:1-3 (KJV)

1 And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.
2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?
3 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.

So either ways the blind man needed new pair of eyes, and that was what Jesus gave to him when He put the mixture of clay and water in His eyes by the power of the Spirit of God to give it life. So all the man needed to do was to wash off the excesses and he would begin to see.

Therefore to be able to do the same, all you need are those three ingredients, namely, clay, water, and the Spirit of God, but of course it's easier said that done, because it's very easy to come get the first two, but the problem usually lies in the third one which is very hard to come by, that is the Spirit of God.

But once you're able to have the power of the Spirit of God at your disposal as Jesus did, then you'd be able make new eyes for those born without one, and also spare parts for damaged ones.

Before man was, God worked!

God worked through methods to form man.

And it was by His Spirit man became a living soul.

And it was the method God used to make man in the beginning that Jesus used to healed the blind man.

If Jesus never taught methods, Jesus used methods. If you want to be able to do likewise, you ought to learn from Jesus methods.

Otherwise even with all the faith in the world combined with all the men in the world, you'd just be making noise, but never be able to do what Jesus was able to do.

49 And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.

Acts 1:8 (KJV)

8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

To be able to do this miracle and other which Jesus was able to do, you need the most important ingredient called the Spirit of God.

It's not by might, nor by power, but by the Spirit of God.
