Though I have read/heard numerous unpleasant remarks about Nigeria nurses, I cannot but speak of their kind heartedness, including the intensity of their job. Also, I will not exclude their uniqueness among other Professionals and their demanding ability to work with patients of various character.

God bless nurses!

You need to specify. Is it those "auxiliary" nurses who are all, sincerely, quack nurses or the certified, registered and licensed ones?

A couple of years ago as an adult, I visited the School health Centre to complain about my inability to sleep.
After every every, I was directed to a room where I would be administered an injected dose of my medicine (Injection).

After I entered, the next thing I heard was: Give me ya arse. I was shocked so in response I just said: Not so direct dear, you should ask for my number first at least.

Well, long story short, I used one leg to return to my hostel cos the force she used to chook me the injection en. Chai. E pain dieeeee.

If I should start sharing my experience with Nigerian nurses, it would be longer than all the seasons of Merlin.

Going to hospital most times is a gory experience but at the end of the tunnel is a shining light, reason why I always advise people to visit hospitals regularly and patients not to shy away from enjoying their stays in the hospital, especially the male patients.

I've never seen any place in the world apart from a hospital, where you would see parades of different sizes of natural asses, neatly packaged inside tight, skimpy uniforms.

Anyway, that's just the tip of the iceberg; just like Quintus Dias said in Centurion, "this is neither the beginning nor the end of my story." My full experience with Nigerian nurses is a story for another day.

Re: Share Your Experience(s) With Nigerian Nurses by mysticgal(f): 3:02pm On Nov 27, 2019
This happened recently. I was admitted into the school clinic and I was on bed for 1 week when this nurse who had been nice to me previously said she was going to kick me out of the hospital if I didn’t get well the next day. I sighed and told her off. The next day, she legit was dragging her feet to give me my drugs and injections. Trust me, my mother changed it for her in seconds cheesy.

When I was leaving, she took my apples and my milk but overall, she was nice and other nurses. I think in my existence in life, nurses have been good to me. Extra nice infact, that’s why I revisit the hospital(s) grin

I was responsible for taking care of the medical bills for someone who was sick and admitted to the hospital. Since I wanted the best of care for the person, the trick was to find the nurses small change as appreciation each time I visited.
They were all falling over themselves competing for who would take care of my patient. The Matron even decided she would be personally in charge of the patient.

Nigerian nurses are the most disrespected on earth.
They are left out of leadership roles in the medical industry, they are disrespected by patients and their pay is significantly less than their counterparts in most part of the world.

I have had bad and good experience with them but I’ve also witnessed nurseS assaulted by male and female patients.

Nigerian Nurses go outside the country and they are top ranked and respected. I feel we our nurses can easily be the best on earth in the right environment

My best experience with nurses are the ones at Memorial Herman Hospital, Houston and Ben Taub, Houston, all in US.

What a wonderful experience! They made me had a rethink of my perception of nursing profession, especially my perception of Nigerian nurses, with all due apologies to the ever hard working ones.

Went for normal check up in 2017 and met a student nurse at the table. Busty, dark skinned and large eye balled. Her name is chioma
We were conversing during the whole checkup thingy and when i was about to leave, I stylishly asked "what next"? She smiled, wrote down her number in a piece of paper and inserted it into my shirt pocket lol.. Damn I won't forget that day

We're still together but due to my work and school we barely see these days.

I like nudes because majority of them tend to be neat
Re: Share Your Experience(s) With Nigerian Nurses by partnerbizn5(m): 3:10pm On Nov 27, 2019
Some are polite while some are rude.

I commend the polite hardworking professional ones.

I reprimand the the rude, unsympathetic ones.

One didn't want to remove catheter on mum years ago even after pleading with her.

I almost slapped her destiny away. I restrained myself.
