You think it was the very day that EFCC got petitions or suspicions about Mompha that they arrested Mompha? These things take time.

Law enforcement does not work the way you people think.

If your petition lacks merit, it will end up in the dust bin. If it has some merits, it is still necessary for certain investigations to be done to connect the dots and know that they have sufficient reasons to go after Tinubu.

If you want to petition Tinubu on the bullion van incident, you have to prove that Tinubu broke a law. This is a very hard thing to do. Because moving raw cash in a bullion van or even using a bullion van is not a crime on its own. So, you can't petition someone for not committing a crime except you can tell that the act correlates with a certain crime.

The anti-money laundering act is not totally against moving raw cash beyond the minimum amount stated as long as certain requirements are met.

So as not to waste the EFCC's time, you have to make sure that you have read the anti-money laundering act thoroughly and understand where and how Tinubu broke the law.

Considering that no law enforcement agency likes to waste time and resources on investigations that would end up as a waste, it is very pertinent that your petitions have merits.
