What I Have Learnt Today

I have learnt that success is personal.

As a team we can succeed but it also takes personal effort.

My definition of success should be mine. Measuring success by another’s clock is unreasonable as it is unfair.

It is unfair to your personal journey; unfair to your personal struggles; unfair to those who sacrificed so you must forge ahead.

I must tell my story; looking at you to define my success is in itself not being successful.

Successful people are leaders because they charted a course that hopefully others can follow.

Don’t be ashamed to launch out with the right support.

There’s a story to be told.

So called celebrities have their struggles too. Don’t copy their failures.

Yes, celebrities may succeed at one and fail in others.

Don’t make others’ failures your standard. That they couldn’t do it has no bearing on your ability.

Be yourself. Dare to be different.
