The Super Eagles have moved four places up in the latest November 2019 FIFA World Ranking released by the global football governing body on Thursday.


The three-time African champions were ranked 35th last month and have now moved to 31st position in November.


Gernot Rohr’s charges defeated the Squirrels of Benin Republic 2-1 in Uyo and Crocodiles of Lesotho 4-2 in Maseru in the month under review.


The Super Eagles also maintain third position in Africa, behind the Teranga Lions of Senegal and Carthage Eagles of Tunisia.


African champions Algeria are fourth, while Morocco, Ghana, Egypt, Cameroon, Mali and Democratic Republic of Congo complete the top 10 teams on the continent.

Belgium still lead the pack in the November FIFA World Ranking, while world champions France and Brazil retain their second and third positions respectively. England and Uruguay make up the top five teams in the world.

The next FIFA World Rankings will be released on December 19.

Me prefer trophies to this ranking thing. Let the Eagles get another trophy soon. It's been awhile.

To be sincere, Gernoth Rohr has really tried in stabilizing the eagles team. A lot of people criticized him for his tactical style of play and a bit negative approach he made to football but he is a man who knows how to get the job done. Whatelse matter. He should try and build a formidable team in the coming years to conquer the world.
