Due to backlash and unrest caused by the decision to place stamp duties on transactions above #1,000 consummated on Point of Sale terminals, The FG has reviewed the threshold upwards to #10,000. I know for a fact that the review has been communicated to banks so if a POS merchant tries to still get u to pay #50 for transactions below #10,000, you can tell him to contact his bank so as to be updated..... Feels good to be heard by the FG. Now if only they can extend this to the social media bill  |
