ANAMBRA STATE DECLARES FREE TRANSPORTATION FOR THIS FESTIVE PERIOD

The government of Anambra State has declared free transportion within the state from December 1, 2019 to January 5, 2020.
This was made known by the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Transport Company Of Anambra State, TRACAS, Dr Ifeoma Madukasi who stated this while addressing the Press at the Company's Head Office in Awka.
The designated routes include Awka to Onitsha by Old Road, Eke Awka to Bridge Head, Awka to Onitsha by Express to Upper Iweka, Awka to Otuocha by Aguleri Junction.
Onitsha to Ogbaru by LGA Headquarters, Awka to Nnewi by Nkwo Nnewi Triangle and Awka to Oko, Ekwulobia to Onitsha.
This is not the first time Governor Willie Mmaduaburuchukwu Obiano is extending this generosity gesture to ndi Anambra. Last year, he initiated this move to better the transportation headache and trauma many Anambrians both indigene and non-indigene suffers during the Christmas period.
Many mistook this benevolence act as politically motivated moves during the heat of campaign and election proper but this time around, it has shown how kind and generous he is towards the people of Anambra State.
The free transportion is solely on transit with Anambra State Transportation Company (TRACAS) owned by the state government.
Chief Willie Obiano is really showing his leadership style that has people oriented ideas and inclusiveness to the core.
