Focus: When and What you should celebrate

WORD FOR TODAY
If you must celebrate, it must be on the account of God's goodness in your life and the fact that God is pleased with your existence. The only time your celebration is valid before God is when your name is in the book of life!!!

One of those things that prompt men to celebrate in every facet of life is good result. When men achieve good result in academics, marriage, career, business, job etc. they have no choice than to celebrate.

There are several men who are just desperate and offer themselves to do just whatever it takes to get result. These people will still call for a party to celebrate unrighteous gains or result that emanates from compromise.

Our Lord made it clear to us that getting results even if it is through righteousness is not enough reason to celebrate but gaining God's approval and maintaining sonship or citizenship with Him after all is said and done in every facet of life. In everything you do, you must be rest assured that God is pleased with you and that your salvation is intact whether your result is favourable or not.

Lord! I receive the grace to please you in all circumstances in Jesus name. Amen!!!

Main Emphasis:
You only have right to celebrate under God if you are sure of the fact that your name is in the book of life!!!
