Took my Tecno pouvoir 2 model LA7 to Carlcare to change the battery after changing it phone no longer charge. Instead of charging while plug to light socket it keeps discharging like never b4. However the battery they fix for me is more stronger than the follow come battery. Plz what will I do the discharging device? I called them they ask me to bring it back to checkment it again. Can Carlcare fix the fault? What will happen if Carlcare can't fix it? Which phone engineer can fix it? Nairalanders help me with advise on what to do.plz I need a way forward.

Maybe the battery terminal is not well clipped... I suggest you change your charging port also. Also confirm that the battery is the same Mah with the one they removed.

If carlcare won't be able to do it, they'll let you know but besides they will repair it there.

The charging IC s very bad.. Repairing it won't solve anything except u change d mother board but if u see original charging IC and d person can do it neat, no problem but if u can't, plz don't waste money...just buy another new board or phone..
