Nigeria once held sway for her agricultural prowess, so much that it depended on it to generate revenue for the government. Revenue from Cocoa, groundnut, palmoil, and cotton were used to build the much needed infrastructure. Agriculture gave rise to many millionaires such as Alhassan Dantata.

However this was shortlived as oil revenue rose quickly and led to the abandonment of the agricultural sector by the government. Agriculture is still plays an important role in the Nigerian economy providing employment for about 30% of the population.

Over the last decade several agricultural startups has emerged to change the current narrative. However one startup seems to be making giant strides in agricultural investment in Nigeria.

Agro Renewal Movement International, (ARMI) is a private-driven agency created towards developing our agricultural sector and helps the government in its policy of diversifying the economy of the country from the oil sector to other opportunities in the non-oil sector; where agriculture plays a pivotal role. ARMI is not just another agricultural company it is creating opportunities for Nigerians to invest in agriculture. To put it simply; ARMI is making agriculture investment affordable, appealing and profitable to anyone.

One of ARMI's key strength is its over deep experience in agriculture investing with expert resources in the areas of agronomy, livestock and crop production.

ARMI is involved in the complete agricultural value chain from production, storage, processing, packaging, logistics and marketing, making it a one stop agricultural solutions company.
Some of its current investments include; Plantain City and Pig Sponsor. This investment allows the public to earn decent return on investment from agriculture. To learn more about ARMI agric investments, please visit www.armi.com.ng.
