They said Governor Akeredolu reportedly took money from the state purse to celebrate his daughter's wedding but what they are ignorant of is that, the husband of the Governor’s daughter, Olatunde is a successful dude and a business partner of Peter Psquare from a very long time coming. Long Arakunrin Akeredolu became Governor.

For a man who happens to be a business partner & close pal to some of the top Artistes in Nigeria, what is Mauritius, a country in the East Africa that he cannot go to celebrate his wedding.

How many normal families have weddings in Barbados, London etc without a word said?

On Governor Akeredolu's part, this is a successful legal luminary who Co-founded a law firm. A former President of the NBA. A former Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice.

And people now think someone of this calibre cannot afford to celebrate his daughter's wedding at Mauritius? A country half the population of Ondo State.

Besides, a destination wedding for 150 guests is always wayyyyy cheaper than a Nigerian wedding where you have to plan for 3000 people because if the Governor doesn't invite at least 100 people from each ward, they will fight him

Nigerians, start checking yourselves abeg. You may be broken, unreasonable, unfair, negative, frustrated and abnormal yet not know it.

All these poverty mentality must end in 2019.

Nothing wrong doing it in Nigeria. Just so the governor will be seen as showing empathy to Nigerians. After all they closed the border so others cannot even buy foreign

He'll have to invite the President, VP, Senators, Governors, Reps, APC party leaders, LG Chairmen, Ondo State Executive Council, Obas and Chiefs, NURTW, Market Leaders etc

Remember the Ajimobi/Ganduje wedding in Ibadan (Agodi Gardens I think) and Kano. So many people attended.

Not all children like the idea of having thousands of strangers at their wedding. Some opt for privacy which their parents respect. A lot of cost savings too as I have learnt over time.
Its really not our business anyway.

Their lives, their choice.

Are we Forgetting Aketti was a rich lawyer before politics, infact he was former head Of Nigerian Bar Associaciation

he smartly avoided huge cost in hosting it in Nigeria where tonnes and tonnes of Politicians would require hotels and entertainment,
