This country is really getting better. There seem to be a competition to do the right things from different Angles. This is a good development. You can't finish as a governor where you earned a huge sum of money, and still be earning the same money after office, whereas the larger number of citizens are dying out of hunger.

The argument is simple, they either take one and leave one and not both. Based on this subject matter, Tinubu is NOT a serving minister nor is he a serving or former senator. You should understand that this law if applied is for ex-governors or any other government official that served previously and presently holding a position collecting pention that's meant for ex government official while still serving in another position, eg ex governors serving as senator or minister

Get your information right, Tinubu is a former Senator, and which years does not matter. And not one of these former gominas deserve either pension or allowances, they don't need either, they were already rich and they have stolen enough to last them and their nebulous family a lifetime.

And more so their governments were owing minor pensioners their dues during their tenures, and these people deserve to be paid first.
