Yahoo messenger has been misbehaving since yesternight! I'll like to know if I need to remove & reinstall it or is this a general problem?

Misbehaving as how? Anyway check your connection settings, perhaps you've tampered with that of the Yahoo messenger

When I sign in, it does successfully but it immediately terminates it self! I tried a web messenger & the same thing happened!

its your internet - maybe u have set up firewall
use firewall with no proxy on the setting in yahoo messenger.

I just tried another username on it & it worked fine but its repeating the same thing with my actual user name!

some general maintenance of the yahoo messenger system is scheduled for this week, that might be the cause of your issues.

I hope so ooo! Or why should other username log on why mine won't?

if another usernam is working fine then i do not think that it has anything to do with you system or your connection is probably logical problem for the yahoo server, it happens very rarely.

Cheers man, I discovered the problem is only on my desktop but not on my laptop so I uninstalled n reinstalled it!
