So I’m just going to make this post as brief as possible, today I woke up, grabbed my phone, first thing I did was check my Mobile Bank app, only for me to find out that #328 has been deducted from my account. I’ve attached a pic to this post, please, does anyone know what this charge is for?

It's a month charges from 24 October to 23 November. For sms

Lol. 4.00 Naira multiplied by the number of times you received SMS alerts for transactions occurring in your account.
For the period.
From the fee, one can tell that you transact a lot.
_Most likely_

Ironically they charge you for every SMS you receive including birthday wishes

So that’s to say, all the alert messages I’ve received between this period is what I’m being charged for?

If you don't act they will keep milking your account... Just walk into any of the branches and request to deactivate SMS alerts for your transactions...they will give you a form to fill and that will be that.. I am sure you also receive emails for same transactions, that should suffice... SMS deactivation is the first thing I do whenever I open a new bank account

Wow, and I never had any idea about this, I’ll just have to use my bank app to do my credit alert checking cool
