The compass of the World of Champions will turn to the northern city of Kano with two live matches of match day four in the Nigeria Premier League billed to take centre stage this weekend.

On Saturday, Kano Pillars will play host to table-topping Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano live on SuperSport 9 from 3.55pm.

This game is going to be a huge clash with commentators and analysts, led by the duo of Mozez Praiz and Ralph Chidozie George, dishing out the statistics and facts between the two sides from the sidelines.

No doubt, Shooting Stars will look to in-form players such as Chima Akas, Raheem Owolabi, Kabiru Alausa, Gbolahan Salami, Tope Orelope and Shola Abolade to match Gabriel Reuben, Abdulwasiu Showemimo, Shehu Shagari, Joseph Thompson, Rabiu Ali and John Yampe of Kano Pillars on SuperSport.

However, the World of Champions will remain in Kano for the clash between Zamfara United and Plateau United live on SuperSport 9 from 3.55pm on Sunday.

Peter Gyang, Edward Bewarang, Ajibade Omolade and others know that they need to start winning games to save Plateau United’s season, as they face Zamfara United.

Shooting Stars have won the top-flight in Nigeria five times in 1976, 1980, 1983, 1995 and 1998 while Kano Pillars have just a title from their 2007/2008 winning feat.

It will be very tough, but my heart goes for Kano pillars to win just the uncommon support they cant from their fans at home.
