in future when we will be naming plagues that plagued Nigeria, buhari's name and his APC dimwits will be very prominent. Same for the PDP counterparts that raped this country. And also our religious leaders

Sowore, will have learnt a very valuable lesson in all this mess he put himself in, revolutions are not tools used to protest losing an election, can't speak for the cabal on why they are still holding sowore, but it is unconstitutional and wrong, the court gave a verdict, Just Obey it. Sowore will choose his words carefully next time, because we have freedom of speech, doesn't mean speech shouldn't come with sense. I wish him well tho.

The only valuable lesson him and any other Nigerian should learn is that Nigerians are not worth fighting for. Anyone who fights and die for Nigeria has died a shameful and useless death. Allow the people to enjoy their sufferings and flex your own life.

Buhari is rather making sowore popular. You think sowore is not enjoying the drama? This hullabaloo has given him more chance of winning future election if you don't know.

What kind of irony is this nation?

DSS sought and got the court order to detain Sowore while still working on their investigation and come up with their 'fictional' charges
Now, same court has ordered same DSS to release him on bail, but they choose to ignore same court order they needed to detain him in first place

Now, tell me again what kind of government we practicing under this deaf and dumb president?

Even though, Sowore some us know has his own 'sowore' dirty closet!

someone should help us make use of VAR to check if this is hate speech

@Tranquillity360,you sound very prejudiced. Are you saying Yoruba men are cowards? Do you know Wole Soyinka,Beko Kuti Fela Anikulapo Kuti, Gani Adams,Olusegun Obasanjo, Adekunle Fajuyi,Gani Fawehinmi, etc? All revolutionary gladiators. These were people who stood, some still stand, against oppression when other sections of the country couldn't speak, couldn't act.I'm very sure you're contradicted by your own very limitations about Nigeria's history.
People who claim the Yoruba are cowards should please remind the world the people who fought IBB to a stand still after the June 12 debacle?Who fought Abacha to a halt till death snatched him away?
Have we forgotten the NADECO struggle?

I dont agree with you. Revolution protest without a gun isn't a crime, it only becomes one in a country like Nigeria under buhari where the rule of law on which his mandate and our sovereignty as a nation stand is subverted. When the same Buhari called for a revolution years back, was he put to jail...? When Tinubu called for a revolution during Jonathan's administration, was he arrested? Buhari doesn't have any respect for the rule of law and that's what makes him a dictator. Nigeria is gone and grown past this stage. This is democracy and not a military rule.

For your information, sowore planned well for this protest. He had all it takes to meet his bail conditions as well. He consulted with a lot of well-meaning Nigerians. Someone like him who is well exposed and educated couldn't have taken such a decision overnight. He didn't start the struggle today. Buhari sent his loyalists to him in the DSS custody to negotiate with him so he could drop his protest but he refused to yield to their fraudulent pleas. Saying he should choose his words carefully next time is quite a primitive and wrong statement taken too far. Maybe you're trying to be biased towards those behind his continued detention.

When court first ordered his release, I told a friend that Buhari that i know would never let that guy go, even if he met all the conditions because he's quite aware he knows all his weaknesses and the fact that he has failed woefully on his promises to the nigerian people. Under a military rule, sowore would have been killed long before now. 4 years may look like forever but Buhari should know he would leave there one day and would be remembered for his disrespect for the rule of law. Now I know why they wanted to pass the controversial hate speech. We all can not be silenced. This govt has failed.

Nelson Mandela spent years in prison from oppressive government. Sowore will not be the first and certainly not the last to protest against this tyrannical government that doesn't obey the law.

PS:This is not a hate speech oooo. Nonsense and ingredient.

Word on marble.

Fact is one Nigeria remains a fiction. Sadly. If not people across Nigeria would be protesting for Sowore. But we have no actual sense of patriotism.

Those protesting women probably came from his town in Ondo State.

The fajuyi you mentioned really moved me.... he was from my state. someone so brave to have taken his life because his master( an igbo head of state, and not even a yorubaman like him) was killed in his region...not even a fulani man would dare. Only yorubas are the brave tribe I know in this country. Guess what? We are the ones still holding this country and once we say we're done , Nigeria would be no more. No region can do without us as we always set the pace.
