Ohanaeze Ndigbo youths, Lagos State chapter have commended the management of Air Peace for blocking the Special Adviser to Lagos State governor on waste clearing, Joe Igbokwe from flying the airline.

In a statement issued on Thursday in Lagos, the chairman of the organization, Kelvin Onuma said that it served him right and urged other airlines to follow suit.

Mr Joe Igbokwe has said in a statement that AirPeace denied him from travelling through their airline. He claimed that he was blocked from travelling through the airline because he criticised the AirPeace.
Onuma said that Igbokwe should be treated as an outcast wherever he is seen.

According to him, Lagos State government knew where he belongs and that was why he was made Special Adviser on gutter clearing.

He said that Igbo groups should also follow the footstep of Air Peace by shunning him wherever he is seen.

“I read with delight the lamentation of the Special Adviser on gutter clearing, Joe Igbokwe that Air Peace blocked him from flying in their plane. As far as Ohanaeze youths are concerned, it is a commendable step because Mr Igbokwe is supposed to be treated as an outcast wherever he is seen. He has become the biggest burden of the Igbo in Diaspora in recent times. His thinking is that he can climb by tearing his people down and we have seen where he is today, Special Adviser on gutter cleaning. His paymasters really know his worth and where he belongs, in the gutter”.

The Ohanaeze Ndigbo youth leader said that Igbokwe should know as Chinua Achebe rightly declared in Things Fall Apart, nobody no matter his wisdom can win a judgement against his own people, adding that what he had succeeded in doing over the years is ridiculing himself and never the Igbo.
