When Shehu Shagari expelled one million Ghanaians, Nigerians were horrified and argued he deported them in order to create a diversion for his economic and social failings. I’ve learned on various Nigerian military focused media platforms that Shagari was responsible for the best and most indebt military hardware acquisitions for Nigeria ever, the majority of which sustains the Nigeria military today in her battles with Bokoharam. In order words, in retrospect, Shagari is turning out possibly the best leader Nigeria ever had and I now doubt Nigerians judged him fairly for the expulsion of those Ghanaians. Perhaps he saw something majority of Nigerians didn’t and which I’m now seeing, having for the last decade studied how Ghanaians operate. I’m stating categorically, for Nigeria to fulfil her potential as a Nation, one of several major things she needs to do, is have as little to do with Ghana as possible or relate to them with same suspicions that exist between America and Russia. In fact, Nigeria needs to deport Ghanaians and let Ghana deport Nigerians. Ghana is not good for Nigeria, they work against Nigerian online, on the ground and in all possible ramifications. Get rid of them! |

From all the crap you had written, it is obvious you suffer from mental depression Ghaba survives on Nigeria charity. The country that is supposed to surviving in another’s charity is doing great, growing its economy at 8.8% the zoo country that supposedly offering charity is struggling and is a certified sh1thole, where people are kidnapped for a ransom of gala and a bottle of coke hammerU: 1 Like 1 Share |

The feeling is mutual the problem is that nigerians are still pouring into Ghaba like there is no tomorrow there are nigerians everywhere in Ghana, I understand there are about 7 million Nigerians in Ghana, compared with 500,000 Ghanaians in Nigeria. So in the case of a tit fir tit deportation, which country will suffer the most? Fuckeduppedness Litmus: 1 Like 1 Share |

Can you find out from the relevant authorities in Nigeria yourself before posting crass crap? hammerU: 1 Like 1 Share |

If anyone was to read through my posts, they would, in time, discover that, at the outset, I kept arguing that Nigerians were not the major focus for xenophobic attacks in South Africa but that mozambicans, Angolans and others were; not that this excuses xenophobic attacks on any African. However, I kept rebutting the majority of claims of xenophobic attacks on Nigerians, dismissing them as fake or misrepresentations aimed at always placing Nigerians as causes of problems and victims of problems they cause, making them hated people, as it were. Sometimes I would accuse Nigerians of always appropriating every problem Africans encounter abroad, owning it and making it theirs. Examples of these are African prosecutions in Libya, African prostitution in Europe, African prostitution in India and general African crimes in Europe and Asia. How Trump's Shit-Hole comment on all africa became a slander on Nigeria alone. In all theses instances, "Nigerians" managed to twist events, misrepresented them so effectively online, Nigerians became associated with them when majority of instance Nigerians and Nigerians had nothing to do with it. Well, here’s the thing, Nigerians weren’t the ones that appropriated these things as their own. Another West African nation’s employed Social Forum Group are responsible. It’s like the Cardi B comment. So-called “Nigerians” twisted her words and made it an instance to attack Nigeria. Nigerians of course would be like fools drawn in to blame themselves in the form of attacking IPOB, political affiliations and tribe... Nigerians, open your eyes |

Just as Ghana wailed loudest when Nigeria partially closed borders, don’t be surprised if they are the ones protesting loudest about Nigeria’s attempted Social Media bill. Open borders and uncontrolled Social Media are destructive to Nigeria. |

edoairways: Botswana and Namibia dont want nigerians, there's so few of them there Botswana is a country famous for wildlife experiences in the Southern part of Africa. To travel here as a Nigerian, you need to apply for a tourist visa. In fact, their official website says: "All Citizens of Commonwealth countries do not require visa except those from Bangladesh, Cameroon, Ghana, India, Nigeria, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka." Namibia However, as a Nigerian traveller, we can't say the process is exactly easy. 2 Likes |

I beg you guys (Nigerians & Ghanaians), this is a serious matter that can't be solved with insults and counter insults and postering of which country is superior and which will suffer in the event of another trade war as was the case in Ghana in 1969 during the BUSIA/AKUFU-ADO administration and 1983 during the SHAGARI administration. Here are some basic facts we need to understand about the retail feud between Nigerian & Ghanaian traders in Ghana: 1. Before independence of Nigeria and Ghana from the British, there's what is known as the Commonwealth CITIZENSHIP of British West Africa. 2. By the above, anyone from any British territory in West Africa is viewed as a citizen in any other British territory he/she chose to migrate & settle in. 3. Many people of Nigerian origin settled in the old Gold Coast (old name for Ghana), they participated in all aspects of the society from Cocoa farming to retail marketing and even Politics and were very successful, to the envy of the indigenes 4. It's because of the above that you get many Ghanaians claiming Nigerian ancestry like the present Ghanaian ambassador to Nigeria 5. With independence came nationhood and a re-adjusted citizen by which citizenship by birth began to take the upper hand. 6. With rising population and unemployment, and dwindling economy, non-Ghanaians were blamed for the economic woes and rising crime rate 7. The then Nkrumah administration promulgated the ALIEN COMPLIANCE ACT by which all non-indigenes are expected to rectify their immigration papers/status. 8. Remember that Nkrumah is a foremost Pan-Africanist and a champion of a UNITED STATES OF AFRICA project 9. Perhaps that was why he couldn't enforce the above mentioned ACT on a large scale. However he used it to deport some of his CPP party's strong opponent back to Kano and Osun states in Nigeria. 10. The anger against non- indigenes dominance in many areas of the Ghanaian economic life fuelled by the media, continued unabated until the NPP government of BUSIA/AKUFU-ADO 11. In 1969 They ordered all ALIENS i.e non-indigenes without proper documentation to leave Ghana within 14 days. 12. Their money in the banks were confiscated 13. The administration went to make a law barring non-indigenes from participating in certain areas of the economy like retail trading, printing, barbering etc 14. The administration's action were praised by a majority of the Ghanaian society as being Patriotic 15. Did that solve the economic woes in the country? Your guess is as good mine but the administration was soon overthrown, the perpetrators siting economic hardship as their reasons 16. Ghanaians trouped to Nigeria en mass in 1970s and 80s 17. The SHAGARI administration ordered them out giving rise to what we know today as GHANA MUST GO. 18. Fast forward to 2013, the law barring non-indigenes from engaging in retail businesses was made an ACT OF PARLIAMENT under their Investment Protocol (GIPC) which runs counter to the ECOWAS protocol treaty which Ghana signed during the administration of General Acheapomg . 19. The reason why various administration since 2013 have not being able to enforce the GIPC law barring non-Ghanaians from retail traders and pernalising those who flout their law More updates to come later, =====>ok, Let the abuses flow in <====== 1 Like |
