If you are living in Ikorodu presently or you have lived there in the past, I will be grateful to hear from you about the place. I intend securing accommodation there very soon. If you work in Ikorodu, I also want to hear from you. So here we go-

1. Which areas are the best to rent houses and live in Ikorodu? I am looking for areas near Imota and Salabo. I need a place where the roads are good and there is electricity in the area. I need a place where a Post Office operates in the area. I am looking for areas where a decent amount of people have started living in. Thanks.

2. How far is Ikorodu Central from Salabo and Imota? Which areas of Ikorodu are not good to live in? I hear ritualists operate in some areas and some Agemo festivals like that . So which areas of Ikorodu should I avoid living or settling in? Which areas have good security and good Police presence? Thanks.

3. Are there good houses to rent in Salabo and Imota, Ikorodu? Which areas of Ikorodu are closer to Salabo and Imota, where good houses can be rented? I need other areas of Ikorodu with good housing that are at least close to Salabo and Ikorodu. Like 1 hours drive to Salabo and Ikorodu. How is Ikorodu generally economy wise? Thanks.

Imota is far from Ikorodu town(garage). The rituals and Oro also take place there as well.... infact even Ikorodu central itself where we are still witnesses Oro 2times or more every year. The houses there are ok and light is almost 24/7 that I can assure u. Best places to get house around there... Low cost, Lucky fibre, Maya, Adamo

Try Igbo-Oluwo Estate at Jumofak Area, just the next bus stop after Agirc Bustop. very closed to main road and from the estate to Blue BRT bus stop. The roads in the Estate are tares and very effective private security in charge of the Estate. That was where I used to stay before I moved to Maryland. Very large Estate and Houses are very affordable there as well.

Forget about oro, not in every places in Ikorodu. Oro is very common at places like, igbogbo,Bayeku, Agbowa and Ishawo.

There's no where in ikorodu that there's no oro.
But naturally there's usually an alternative route for pass out.

Yea I agree with u, but u know the area is well develop so u can't compare the cost of rent there with other places. I'm a real estate agent in ikorodu

There is post office there. Garage which is very close to Jumofak (3 mins walk) Imota is just N150 for Keke or Bus

U are welcome bro. Well firstly ikorodu is far develop than the way people think it is, is just like every other part of Lagos where u have different kind of people/ tribe. So is far develop beyond where a tribe will dominate it.
Ikorodu is a very well secure place and badoo as been finally put to and end long time ago.
Well depending on your budget.
Itamaga, ota-ona, eyita, bab-sherife, first gate, low-cost estate etc are well developed place close to sabo,
lucky fiber, parafar, adamo, Maya, isiwu are places close to imota, they are along sabo-imota express way
