If you can't move on after a breakup, then give it another chance. If you plan to move on, do so with your heart. Don't be in a new relationship while your heart is still in the last one. Don't date someone just because you want to escape the hurt of the previous experience. Don't jump into another relationship simply to prove to your ex that you are doing great. Meanwhile, it baffles me how quickly people start up a new relationship after a supposed heartbreak. Is it that some are scared of being alone or that they never really loved the last person? Cos from experience, when you really love someone and was betrayed, it takes a really long time to give the same chance to another. It's really advisable to give ur self some time, try to find out while the last didn't work. There might be something that needs fixing or an attitude that needs attention. That's what moving on entails, it means a positive adjustment, It's all about learning to love yourself. That way, you would be at peace to love another selflessly again. Without this, you would simply bring both the hurt and the doubts of ur last experience into the new one. It's already a sign of failure cos no matter the definition u might give it, he or she isn't responsible for ur past woes. You are just not prepared enough to give them a clean chance, you see them with the eyes of ur past. Fix it! 1 Like |
