Gov. Ugwuanyi @ Enugu women prayer rally amid jubilation

Enugu State Governor, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, on Monday, joined women in the state in their monthly prayer rally at Michael Okpara Square, Enugu, amid cheers and excitement.

Speaking on behalf of his wife, Mrs. Monica Ugwuanyi, who was unaviodably absent at the event, Gov. Ugwuanyi profoundly thanked the women for the prayers they have been offering for him and the state.

The governor who was received by a large crowd also expressed gratitude to the women for their prayers and support during the elections, which he said ended in praise.

He added that their unceasing prayers made it possible that the state is peaceful and making steady progress, saying: " I came to say Thank-you".

It was indeed a pleasant surprise for the women when the people's governor arrived the venue at the peak of the prayer rally, which marks the last session for the year 2019.

Enugu State is in the hands of God!##

Prayers without work is dead in itself.

If these women used this rally to demand that the Governors does something about the hold up in Abakpa Junction and other places, it will make more sense. At least relief people from their suffering.

With such fanfares, we are going no where.

Look at what we are parading as a governor. My only consolation is that I didn't vote for him this time.

People should look into arbitration services as an alternative anyway. It would be better than regular courts in some circumstances..
