SW Should Count The SE/SS Out Of Their Anti Buhari Media War by Eastlink(m): 11:58am On Dec 11, 2019 |
Please and please, if you're from the SE/SS stay out of the fight between the SW and North. I repeat stay away from the media war of the SW against Buhari. Stay out of a battle you know nothing about. What you're seeing is a sophisticated political pattern of the SW to gain a foothold of the center. Our people say, that he who brought an ant infested wood into a home, is as complicit as the ant itself. Let the bringer carry his ants to the place he sought them from. Many of us can remember vividly the pre and post 2015 shenanigans of the SW. Only ignorant SE/SSoutherners would say they don't know about this. Pre 2015 1. Who called GEJ drunk fisherman and ogogoro drinker? 2. Who denigrated the stool of the presidency by calling GEJ all kinds of unprintable names? 2. Who used the press to destroy the government of GEJ? 3. Who threatened revolution against GEJ? 4. Who carried out mass protest at any given opportunity against the policies of GEJ? 5. Who supported the north when they vowed to make GEJ's government ungovernable? 6. Who presented Buhari as the perfect gentleman to clean up all the bad stains of GEJ? 7. Who called Jonathan's government the worst in the history of Nigeria? 8. Who called the wife of the President Patience Jonathan a chimpanzee as well as an illiterate market woman? 9. Who advised the military to intervene if Jonathan does not hand over power? Post 2015 1. Who cheered Buhari on when he called the SE/SS 5%? 2. Who warned the SE/SS not to expect any position from Buhari's cabinet, speaking even louder than the north? 3. Who called the SE/SS wailers? 4. Who repudiated the SE/SS when Buhari went against the federal character? 5. Who insulted the SE and advised Buhari to called their bluffs when not a single person in that zone was appointed into any major position in government? 6. Who told the SE/SS to go collect their rights from the basket they voted for? 7. Who insulted the SE/SS with the one basket policy and wanted an outright marginalization against this people? 8. Who denigrated the federal character as enshrined in the constitution and asked that a whole zone be punished for voting against the APC? 9. Who supported operation Python Dance against IPOB and the shooting of unarmed protesters? 10. Who supported operation crocodile smile against the Avengers and the military operation on Tompolo? 11. Who supported the mass killings of the Shiites? 12. Who cornered the positions meant for the whole south to themselves? 13. Who backed Ruga and fulanisation plan of the government? 14. Who made mockery of the SE/SS when they got the VP, Speakership and other major positions for themselves? 15. Who is clamouring for the Presidency come 2023 to bypass the SE (the only zone in the south that haven't smelled the Presidency) and be gifted to them despite having rule for two term? Until the humiliation of Vice President Osibanjo, Sowore and others from the SW it was business as usual for them. Many of us neutrals have watched this movie before and understand the political sophistication and pull him down syndrome of our SW brothers. When the SW wants to get back power this is the game they usually play. I would never be fooled by this hypocritical change and repentance. As a matter of fact this is karma fighting against the SW. You don't support injustice against others and want justice for yourself? This is not how natural justice work. For those of us who are ignorant and intend joining the bandwagon of operation pull Buhari down, beware before you get burnt too. Similar situation as today have happened before. 1. The SW was instrumental in bringing down the democratically elected government of President Shehu Shagari. They made Nigerians believe that Shagari was corrupt and that his government was the worst ever. The lost of Pa Awolowo in the General elections in 1983 brought about the scathing criticism and demonization of Shagari's government and openly called for a coup d'etat by the barracks boys to remove Shagari. It wasn't surprisingly when Maj. General Buhari stucked a few months later with wide jubilations in the SW. Emir Sanusi Lamido Sanusi once made reference to this during a his lecture he gave in Arewa forum in Kaduna. The links are available! 2. The SW led by Abiola was instrumental in removing Ernest Shonekan in 1993. Abiola in his wisdom thought that by removing Shonekan with the help of his military friend, that Abacha would restore his mandate to back him. As a matter of fact Abiola was the first to pay Abacha a congratulatory visit for that feat. But it didn't take long before Abacha showed him his true colours. The links are also available too! Recently, history is repeating itself again and many of us know that the fight against Buhari is not genuine. I expect Buhari to carry on with the clampdown on the press. I also expect the quick passage of the hate speech bill as well as the social media prohibition bill. Let those who brought an ant infested wood into the house, carry it out of the house alone. In this particular case, my friends enemy is not my enemy, everyone should carry their cross. 16 Likes 5 Shares |

Eastlink:Its not even about GEJ or 2015. They voted Buhari again in 2019 after a disastrous 1st tenure, why are they suddenly crying foul? ZakZaky,Dasuki etc have been in detention against several court orders,so what has changed? 6 Likes 1 Share |

The truth is that Ipob members would gladly embrace Buhari if he entices them. That is how you know the difference between fake rights activists and those who desire real change. We are waiting for the pro-Buhari rally that will happen in the east soon. It will be interesting. 20 Likes 1 Share |

If the SW ever decides to fight the president, be informed that we don’t need the support of the south east to take that stand. We battled military dictatorships and fought for the democracy you all currently enjoy without your support. We made Jonathan and unmade him when he messed up. We can fight our battles without dragging others into the fight. The SE should stay on their lane and stop this shameless attention seeking. 29 Likes 4 Shares |

With kind of useless and brainless people on this forum. One's just have to stay clear from this forum. First southwest not complain about anything and if they do its for our own purpose. Can southeast or south south do without southwest when the average of igbos and south south people living in southwest. Bad policy will affect both rich and poor people. 1 Like |
