The federal government should invest heavily in secondary schools, increase the secondary school duration to 8years, introduce coding, vocational training and sports(rigorous and systematic) then up the standard of teachers/tutors they employ.

University education in Nigeria is overrated

This suggestion sounds interesting.

Hear yourself, employees design template for employer?

Is your education not a waste?

Ha!!! If it will save employer cost and help improve work productivity it's allowed...Try take a course in human resources Management. Some of your paymasters know this things.

But wait is it that you are blind or cognitively slow that you didn't read the part that government will be saved the commission that will be paid and most probably shared by the owners of the IPPIS and AGF office or it is not a concern to you or you have been configured to react this way against the fact that Nigeria will gain more with the ASUU template?

Yaba left needs to be proactive.

See them. Ordinary Transparency and Accountability, they are found wanting. This really exposes ASUU as a selfish, inordinate, backward, barbaric, self serving, garrulous, uncouth, corrupt, educated illiterates and inordinate Union.
Some of you claim to be educated but you still can't read in between the lines. You consume every propaganda of government, hook, line and sinker. Did you bother to digest the position of ASUU on this matter?

And talking about accountability, you should direct that query at the University management and governing councils who are appointees of Government, and as such are pro-government and not pro-ASUU. They handle the funds, not ASUU.

You must be a dunce for not knowing the advantages of enrollment on IPPIS. Instead of you to concentrate on the values offered by IPPIS, rather you are blinded by crumbs of duplication of efforts, ghost workers and perpetuation of corruption in the administration of payroll in the system. It is good for you if your reasoning is as low for employee to determine strategic policy direction of a project for you, if you have ever been an employer.

ASUU chairman is just ranting, majority of the ASUU members has already enrolled for the IPPIS, and i still maintain my stand ASUU as a body is a disappointment, a body that is suppose to be the brain behind a country been that they are made up of academicians, the IPPIS has been in place since 2008 or so, and ASUU never made any effort to look into the system to see how they can incorporate all their allowances because they felt that they will never join the system, now they are shouting and even coming up with their template.

Majority who? Na you register them? Lol... They have designed an alternate and functional software... And you are still slaying them for designing a free software for government to use without paying bogus commissions and fees..

The government can't cajole ASUU...

What stupid advantage that is wrapped in corruption and deceit that whopping 2billion of tax payers money will be paid to contractors for designing an Excel sheet payroll system? Ole!!! Thief!!! Yam eaters!!! The strategic decision is introduction of IPPIS, and every reliable system that will have a smooth implementation demands inputs from all parties...Refusal to carry any component unit of system leads to failure Oga. I refuse to continue pouring water on a stone that is designed to remain a stone...senior carton...

No you don't. You said majority of ASUU members which is a blatant lie... ASUU members who sneaked to enrol aren't even up to 0.0009 percent...

We know the university that had a high enrollment and a good number of them have decided to withdraw their enrollment due to regret...
