I've had almost 50% dropped calls with Airtel this weekend. That company is to be avoided at all costs. Unserious idiots!

Give them time. They rock in Asia and am sure they've got big plans for the Nigerian market.
Re: Airtel Launches New Blackberry Service @ 3k Monthly: Hurray! by Ogboraph(m): 7:14pm On Nov 27, 2010
you are right, they may of cos claim to ve big plans for nija but i am not sure if they can ever meet up with MTN
Re: Airtel Launches New Blackberry Service @ 3k Monthly: Hurray! by aieromon(m): 4:19am On Nov 28, 2010
What's working for MTN is wider coverage and consistency in service.Once these companies can step up their game,am sure MTN will review their pricing structure.

If I may ask, what are the current rates?

Additionally, I guess MTN offers 3G while Airtel is yet to launch it, right?

I know since MTN crashed it, others must follow asap.

I was at the MM2 departure hall 2weeks back and just breezed into the ZAIN shop to inquire on their plans to follow suit on the price slash, only for the staff to tell me that MTN was crashing price because their services was crappy. I laughed at the dude for his deluded excuse.
When a market leader is crashing price you're still yarning bull

Zain is my main line but for BIS, i had always been using MTN, maybe i'll give them a trial nxt month.

I bet he/she is. MTN is the Nigerian nemesis that chunks our bones like a waving cancer. Very useless a network. Agreed, airtel had issues some weeks back when they came up with the social month freebie, but all that has been resolved. They blast fine now.

Glo costs 2,800 per month, and 900 per week; and it's been fair enough since I started using it 3 weeks ago.
