The psalmist realized who was holding on to him in the midst of the good and the bad and we too need to realize God is with us in both our good and bad situations. The psalmist realizes that if your focus is not on the right thing, you can slip. Sometimes we look at what is going on in the lives of others and we can become discouraged. Yet, our focus needs to be on the great I AM who will strengthen us for our journey and help us to succeed. Who do you say He is? When you answer that question correctly, you are well on your way to understanding the great I AM and then becoming who He says you are.
