It is ineffective to try to advise someone out of a heartbreak. You can’t use a logical advice to get a person out of a heartbreak.

Emotions and logic are two different things.

At the point of heartbreak, the willpower is low and even if they are aware of all logic and reality, it is still not enough to get them to act. They will still follow the path of least resistance rather than do what is right or sensible at this point.

You have to be more practical and empathetic.

What you should really be doing is to help them get out of their demise not advice them out of it - that is not enough.

This can include funny insults, helping them see the bigger picture (of life being bigger than a single person who decided not to love them anymore), helping them develop interests in other things and also replacing the part of them that had just left (hooking them up with a few nice beautiful women should do the trick - a new woman they find really attractive and exciting would do a lot of help!)

To give advice is cheap, if you truly care about them you’d be more practical. Their will is what you are trying to win back here. Mere logical reasoning is not enough at this point.

So yeah, stop advising and start helping!
