Below is a world-class hostel in Germany.

Why are people above saying this is a philanthropic gesture when the rent is 300K per annum? There is difference between philanthropy and investment (business).

The philanthropist donated it to Anambra State University Management for use. It's now an asset to the school management not the philanthropist

Modern building and equipped in 2019? You need to SERIOUSLY AND URGENTLY rebuke poverty from YOUR LIFE family and generation then work hard. Did you bother estimating the cost of building that edifice, furnishing each of the rooms, floor tiles, interlocking etc.
So you think he can recoup his money in 10years considering the standard he put in place. It's a give away at that amount sir.

Go and read again, he said the government should patronize him as he rents out the hostel for 300k per annum.
If it belongs to the school, what exactly do they want to patronize him for and why did he fix the fees?
It seems their school fees is lesser than 100k, no school will fix 300k as fees for a hostel given to them for free in a school where students pay 100k school fees, Never!
It is his investment, he stated it clearly!

God bless him for building this in his own state and not building it in the north like some senseless id.iots who want useless favours from the govt of the day. How can you from the south be using your hard earned money to build schools or hospitals in the north while their rich leaders prefer to build 95 mosques and embezzle money. E no make sense at all.

Fully fitted hostel? Virgin rooms, all painted and fitted with furnitures down to bed, a stand by Generator and solar system?

My mistake #300,000 per room maximum of two students per room, meaning #150,000 per student
rooms well furnished, with Gymnasium, Restaurant, Multipurpose hall, with over two hundred capacity, Shopping Mall that contains business centre that is equipped with thirty computer sets for students' use.

The hostel also contains pharmacy, Barbing salon, Hair dressing salon, Maintenance yard, Two borehole facilities with two massive overhead tanks that will be supplying water to the rooms twenty-four hours.

24/7 power supply is assured in the hostel as there are 250kv standby power generator sets, as well as Sola system.

Protection of life and property is also assured in the hostel as it equipped with CCTV cameras, and armed security personnel.

Two Buses are also available for the students' daily conveyance to school.
