I know of a modelling agency in Ikoyi who got jobs for Calvin Klein and the models are doing amazing offshore but for the many models in Nigeria who don't have such opportunities, they earn pretty low.

In Nigeria it depends on a few major factors.
I've been a model as a teen, and model instructor for over a decade before I set up my academy. I can tell you that modeling here is a bit tricky but if you are resilient and hardworking, you can get that money.

For a runway show they pay between 10-25 k, depending on what type of show it is, time frame and the organizers.

For commercial modeling that involves photography for commercials, billboards and tv ads... You may be required to sign a contract and that can fetch you and your agent millions of naira.
Some models are freelance though.

Hmm. Naija. Creating a union will make this profession a lucrative one. From what I see in the comments the prices range from clueless (‘Model’ Mike’s alternates) to 200,000 NGN. A union will standardize the job thereby earning workers decent wages.

Although ignorant of the pay structure I assumed it depended on the contract one had with the agency, the agreement the agency had with a designer and finally the event size and reputation, meaning payment varied for one model depending on what he/she indulged in at particular times.
